FamilySource Center

The Boyle Heights FamilySource Center is a "one-stop-shop" for families that offers free children/ youth and adult education and training programs. The goals of the center are to provide a continuum of services designed to assist low income families in becoming self sufficient financially, academically and emotionally.

Annually we serve over 2,000 individuals who benefit from the core services outlined below. Through these core services we generate family income of $500,000 and assist children & youth in 300 academic achievements annually.

We run the Family Source Partnership Program (FSPP) where we co-locate a Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) Pupil Services and Attendance (PSA) counselor with our FSC staff. Our PSA services families with children ages 5-17. This program provides a range of services through a multi-agency collaboration to promote academic achievement, graduation for all students, help family systems thrive and strengthen our community.

The Boyle Heights FamilySource Center is one of 16 centers throughout the City of Los Angeles that serve, assist and support residents in their local neighborhoods and communities.
