Homelessness Prevention Services

Homelessness Prevention focuses on preventing new cases of homelessness by stabilizing housing and working with families to build a more financially secure future.

To help rent-burdened, low-income households resolve a crisis that would otherwise lead to a loss of housing the homelessness prevention team assists with:

• Mediation and/or landlord
• Housing unit inspections
• Negotiation leases with property managers
• Housing stabilization Case Management
• Housing re-location and placement
• Referrals to public assistance, financial products, and local services
• Housing Financial Assistance
